6.7 Shakes Iwate Prefecture
A magnitude 6.7 earthquake occurred at 06:51 Jun 23 (Japan time) in the Iwate prefecture. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency the depth of the trembler was about 20 km. A brief tsunami warning was issued, however as of late it has been cancelled. There are no reports of damage at this time. We will keep you posted as information comes in.
