Is Tokyo Number 1?

Submitted by on March 1, 2010 – 12:39 pm3 Comments

Alright, you have either visited, lived in -or wanted to visit or live in- Tokyo because you find the city ______. If you filled in the blank with something positive, you may find agreement with the writers that found 50 reasons why Tokyo is number one.

Via the CNNGo Asia Blog, the following writers:  Matt Alt, Hiroko Yoda, Melinda Joe, Andrew Szymanski, and W. David Marx, CNNGo Tokyo City Editor, provide their 50 reasons why Tokyo is number 1.

Here’s a previous article on the top 29 cities to live in that I wrote on Tokyo for AskMen.com.

What do you think?  Read more here.

All of my friends who have lived there, way back when I started on the BT boards when I was 14 years old, now im goin on 21, everyone there and even now, all i hear about tokyo is

“i cant even explain man, its just F*ckin insane..”

Visiting this August with less than $2000 if i have too nothing else will stop me.

then me and 3 friends are moving to Tokyo after we graduate college. I believe in life sometimes you need to grab it by the balls. Screw the planning and all the bs man.. with all that, ill never go. As shown by the fact that I “planned” several times before to visit but never did.

Applying for a job and moving.

So, what sort of job are you planning to get and do you speak, read and write Japanese? I just left that area a few months ago and after having spent 4 years over there myself it will be a plus for you to speak the Japanese language and if you can read and write then you are far beyond the rest.

    At one time YES!
