Here is the latest information from the US Embassy Tokyo. Be safe and stay healthy!

U.S. citizens can call the Office of Overseas American Services for the latest travel information.  The Office of Overseas American Services can be reached from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Monday through Friday, by calling 1-888-407-4747 from within the U.S. or Canada, or by calling (202) 501-4444 from other countries.

As reported in the media, the Japanese government is conducting health screening of inbound airline passengers from H1N1-affected countries, including flights from the United States.  Health screening teams are boarding arriving aircraft to consult with aircrew, collect health screening questionnaires, and screen for symptomatic passengers.  Depending on the findings of the health screening teams, some arriving passengers have been delayed several hours before being allowed to proceed through immigration and customs.
